Sprung from the lively city of Kanpur, Saumya’s academic path led her through economics at Lady Shri Ram College, followed by an MBA from IIM Ahmedabad.

However, the allure of early-stage startups pulled her in a different direction. Taking on the early-stage venture capital challenge at DSGCP, she found herself right where the excitement was. This twist not only fed her fascination with budding businesses but also resonated with her love for shopping. With a spotlight on consumer brands, her new role brought her closer to the type of brands she had always admired, weaving her personal interests into her professional journey. Her passion for consumer products intertwined with the excitement of connecting with entrepreneurs keeps Saumya ticking.
