Born into a family of engineers, Tavishi’s journey into the world of venture capital began at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay. There, she not only honed her technical skills but also embraced her entrepreneurial spirit as the head of the media and marketing division at the Entrepreneurship Cell – Asia’s largest student-run entrepreneurship cell, where she helped foster a vibrant startup ecosystem.

Before joining DSG, Tavishi worked as a consultant at Bain & Company in their private equity group, where she conducted thorough diligence for multiple PE and VC firms across diverse sectors, including consumer, healthcare, IT services, and SaaS. This experience equipped her with a keen analytical mindset and a robust understanding of market dynamics.

Tavishi's passion for consumer investing stems from her firsthand observation of changing consumption patterns in her hometown, Bhilai and beyond. She believes that understanding the pulse of consumers is essential for driving innovation and growth in startups. With a commitment to empowering entrepreneurs, Tavishi is dedicated to identifying transformative business models that resonate with today’s consumers.

When she’s not crunching numbers, Tavishi dives into her passions: a wannabe sports enthusiast who scores points both on the field and the dance floor, a painter who brings her vivid imagination to life, and a culinary wizard who cooks up joy (and maybe a little chaos) in the kitchen. From athletic feats to artistic creations, she believes life is best enjoyed in vibrant, dynamic bursts!
