Varun Parekh

Born and brought up in Mumbai, Varun is a CA and CFA by qualification.

Having started his career with tax at EY, Varun then moved to Axis Capital focusing on M&A advisory (where his first deal was in the apparel space, which brought about his love for consumer as a sector and aspiration to eventually be a consumer investor) before transitioning to the venture world, doing venture debt at InnoVen Capital and now at DSG Consumer Partners, where he is keen to identify and work with insurgent consumer brands and help founders build from the ground up.

Varun is extremely passionate about cricket (good old test cricket), football (Manchester United – as hard as it is today), an occasional runner (stuck at 10k hoping to get beyond) and an avid traveller who loves exploring new destinations.
