A true global citizen, Tarika's journey across eight cities and six countries has given her a deep appreciation for diverse markets. Constantly adapting to new cultures has always sparked a curiosity in her about how people live and work.

Tarika earned her bachelor's degree from New York University and began her career at Teach for India (TFI), working with 66 underprivileged students in Mumbai. This shaped her understanding of human behavior, resilience, and meaningful impact.

After TFI, she joined an ed-tech startup, working directly with the CEO to scale the company. With this, she experienced firsthand the highs and lows of an early-stage startup. Eager to deepen her understanding of business building and consumer markets in Southeast Asia, she pursued an MBA at Singapore Management University, where she interned at DSG Consumer Partners. The internship ignited her curiosity about what makes brands resonate with different consumers.

Now at DSGCP, Tarika is excited to work with early-stage entrepreneurs, especially supporting women-led businesses in Southeast Asia, and help them build and scale lasting brands.

Outside the office, you’ll find Tarika trying out new workout classes, looking at new recipes for her air fryer, or on long walks with friends and their dogs.
